Council of Ministers to allocate 150 Thousand Euros as Humanitarian aid for Ukraine

Today, the Council of Ministers of BiH made a decision to allocate 150,000 euros from the budget reserve for humanitarian aid to Ukraine.

“I am glad that this initiative has received the support of everyone in the BiH Council of Ministers,” BiH Foreign Minister Bisera Turkovic wrote on Twitter.

The global crisis caused by Russia’s invasion of the neighboring country of Ukraine has further complicated the situation in BiH, and a number of Ukrainians have arrived in Bosnia and Herzegovina. However, they do not receive refugee status by entering BiH.

Therefore, the Government of the Federation of BiH called on the Council of Ministers of BiH to resolve this issue because it is their competence, but it is not on the agenda of today’s session.
It should be reminded that the Government of Sarajevo Canton recently allocated 100,000 BAM to help Ukraine.
