The councilors in the Assembly of the City of Trebinje will renounce their benefits in 2018, and all the funds saved in this way will be allocated for the funding of internships and volunteer work of young people from Trebinje.

According to the new decision on the benefits, only unemployed and pensioners among the members of the Assembly of the City of Trebinje will receive the right to a monthly allowance in 2018.

The councilors benefit will amount to 50 % of the average net salary paid in the city administration.

None of the members of the City Assembly was opposed to this decision and the conclusion on funding of the internship and volunteer work that was proposed by DNA was unanimously addopted as well.
