The competent court in Greece decided to release the first group of 20 “Dinamo” fans from Zagreb, who have been in Greek prisons since August for murdering fans.

Croatian media reports that out of a total of 105 fans, 20 were released with individual bail of 1,000 euros each.

The Minister of Justice and Administration, Ivan Malenica, expressed his belief that all arrested Croatian citizens from Greece should come to Croatia by Christmas.

“I think that the most important thing at this moment is that the decisions on ending the pre-trial detention have been initiated. I would appeal to the fans themselves to be patient, but also to parents and friends,” said Malenica.

Dinamo fans, i.e. 105 members of the “BBB” fan group, were arrested in August after street clashes with AEK fans in which Mihalis Kacuris was stabbed to death, Srna news agency reports.
