The Court of Bosnia and Herzegovina is of the opinion that the request of the former Prime Minister of the Federation of BiH Fadil Novalić for pardon should not be granted and this opinion has been submitted to the Ministry of Justice of BiH for further action, the Court announced today.

On February 16, the Ministry of Justice in the Council of Ministers submitted to the Court of Bosnia and Herzegovina for an opinion the request for pardon of the convicted Novalić.

The court gave its opinion that Novalić’s request for pardon should not be granted on February 26 and the following day submitted it to the Ministry of Justice for further competent action.

The Court of Bosnia and Herzegovina sentenced Novalić to four years in prison for abusing his position during the procurement of ventilators during the corona virus pandemic.
