Yesterday, the government of the Republika Srpska (RS) sent a criminal complaint to the Banja Luka District Public Prosecutor’s Office against Drasko Stanivukovic, the mayor and commander of the Banja Luka Emergency Situations Staff, due to, as they say, grounds for suspicion that he committed a crime against human health.

It is Article 195 of the Criminal Code of the RS – non-compliance with health regulations during the epidemic, as the Public Relations Office of the RS Government announced.

Among other things, this report stated that Stanivukovic used every opportunity and media appearance in the territory of RSand Bosnia and Herzegovina (BiH) in the period from September 24th to 30th this year to cause panic, fear, and uncertainty among the population of this entity.

“He did that by making false claims, and especially by making untrue allegations that at the University Clinical Center (UCC)of RS, as well as other health institutions – hospitals in the territory of RS, where there were patients suffering from the infectious disease Covid 19, which has already taken countless lives, provides industrial oxygen instead of medical oxygen, ” it was explained in the statement.
