Acting High Representative Louis J. Crishock said after a two-day visit to Banja Luka that the Office of the High Representative (OHR) is ready to talk with all political actors in Bosnia and Herzegovina, stressing that full implementation of the Dayton Peace Agreement, respect for the rule of law and support for institutions are key to preserving peace, stability and the country’s future.
Crishock met in Banja Luka with representatives of the institutions of Bosnia and Herzegovina, the Government of Republika Srpska, the opposition, civil society and all three constituent nations.
On that occasion, he emphasized that cooperation with representatives of various political parties, institutions and communities is a key part of OHR’s mandate and that it shows his commitment to the citizens of BiH and its future.
“The Office of the High Representative is ready to talk to everyone and listen to everyone. We are dedicated to the full implementation of the Dayton Peace Agreement and to support the institutions and constitutional framework that preserve the peace, stability and future of Bosnia and Herzegovina,” said Crishock.
During the meetings, he again emphasized OHR’s unwavering support for the constitutional and legal order established by the Dayton Peace Agreement.
He also emphasized the importance of dialogue, respect for the rule of law and responsible leadership in preserving stability and building a better future for BiH, OHR announced.
