The current epidemiological situation is being discussed at the session of the Crisis Staff of the Federation of BiH, and a gradual mitigation of measures is proposed.

This refers to the abolition of the obligatory wearing of masks outdoors, except in places where it is not possible to keep a distance.

It has been suggested that wearing masks be mandatory at bus, tram and trolleybus stops, and inside of vehicles.

It was also proposed that the number of people in supermarkets and wholesale stores be regulated on the basis of the square footage of the space, with the obligatory presence of COVID wardens and the indicated number of people in the facility. The proposals will be submitted to the FBiH Government for adoption.

In the past 24 hours, 2,466 samples were registered with the Public Health Institute of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina, of which 472 were positive for SARS-CoV-2. New cases have been registered in all the cantons.

In the past 24 hours, 43 new deaths were reported to the Public Health Institute of the Federation of BiH.

As of today, the number of deaths in the Federation of BiH is 4,824, the Institute announced in the press relase.
