Crnadak and Alraisi about the Participation of BiH in EXPO 2020 in Dubai

Minister of Foreign Affairs of BiH Igor Crnadak received the non-resident Ambassador of the United Arab Emirates to BiH, Saker Naser Alraisi, on an official visit.

Crnadak and Alraisi, who is leading the delegation of the EXPO Dubai 2020 during the visit to BiH, discussed the participation of BiH in EXPO 2020, which will take place in Dubai from October 20, 2020, to April 10, 2021.

They expressed their belief that the participation of BiH in EXPO 2020 will be a great opportunity for improvement of the economic relations between the two countries, as well as for the promotion of economic potentials of BiH.

Crnadak noted that relations between the two countries are very good and without open issues, and he also noted the need to further improve economic relations between BiH and the United Arab Emirates.

Crnadak also noted the need for the signing of an agreement on the abolition of visas for holders of diplomatic and official passports between the Council of Ministers of BiH and the Government of UAE and the agreement on the reciprocal recognition of driving licenses.

Alraisi stated that relations between the two countries are friendly and he expressed the belief that the issues related to the visa-free regime for citizens of BiH and the recognition of driving licenses of BiH to the UAE will be resolved in the upcoming period.

He also emphasized the need to increase the activities and contacts between the institutions of the two countries that would contribute to the increase of the economic exchange and improvement of the economic relations between BiH and UAE.

Crnadak sent an invitation to the Foreign Minister of UAE, Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan, to pay a visit to BiH, as announced by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of BiH.
