Croatian President in a Working Visit in BiH

The President of the Republic of Croatia, Zoran Milanovic, arrives on a working visit to Bosnia and Herzegovina (BiH) in Siroki Brijeg on Tuesday, August 15th, where he will award the 1st Poskok Battalion of the Croatian Defense Council (HVO)Siroki Brijeg with the Order of the Croatian Trefoil, for the special merits of its members in the Homeland War.

At 10:40 a.m., the Croatian president was supposed to lay a wreath and light a candle at the Memorial Cross on Sirokobrijeskih zrtava Square, the President’s Office announced.

Then, at 11 a.m., he attends a holy mass in the courtyard of the Church of the Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary in Siroki Brijeg.

At 1:15 p.m., the 1st Poskok Battalion of the HVO Siroki Brijeg will be awarded the Order of the Croatian Trefoil, for the special merits of its members in the Homeland War (Ulica pobijenih Franjevaca 17).

As stated in the announcement, an appropriate address by the President of the Republic of Croatia, Zoran Milanovic, is scheduled.
