Custody to be proposed for Mulahusic, suspected of having Links with Terrorist Organizations

After questioning the suspect Jasmin Mulahusić, the Prosecutor of the Prosecutor’s Office of BiH sent a motion to order custody.

He is, among other things, linked to the terrorist organization Al Qaeda.

“According to the collected data, the mentioned suspect was in the focus of interest of the security services of foreign countries and is connected with persons close to the terrorist organization Al Qaeda and other terrorist organizations. These are very complex investigative activities that go beyond the state security of Bosnia and Herzegovina.” is stated from the Prosecutor’s Office of BiH.

Given that certain political entities in BiH are trying to relativize the issue of arresting the suspect, the Prosecutor’s Office of BiH calls on them to refrain from inappropriate behavior and open pressure on the judiciary, which could have detrimental consequences for BiH’s international reputation in security and counterterrorism.

The mentioned suspect was also recorded by the investigative bodies of other countries, which is the result of joint work in the fight against the prevention of international terrorist activities.
