Damir Džumhur goes to the Olympics

dzumhurDamir Džumhur surrounded the match to Guido Andreozzi in the first round of Challenger in Prostějov.

He surrounded the match after an hour of a game, when the result was 7:5, 4:1 in favor of his opponent.

Our best tennis player was forced to surrender the match due to ankle injury that he got during his training.

Despite the pain, he decided to try to play, but he was not able to make it until the end.

As regards to his placement for the Olympic Games, the ATP ranking that will be published next Monday, will be taken into the consideration.

Damir will be ranked at 86th or 87th position of ATP ranking (depending on the result Gastao Elias achieves this week). He will be ranked at 53rd of 54th position out of 56 tennis players that are going to the Olympics.
