Our best tennis player, Damir Dzumhur, is currently ranked 108th in the new ATP rankings. Compared to last week, Bosnia’s best tennis player is down eight positions.

Interestingly, Dzumhur recorded a decline after performing in Los Angeles, where he was really unlucky and lost a match against Italian Andeas Seppi.

To make Dzumhur’s situation worse, Seppi played in the finals of a tournament in Los Angeles in which he lost to Edmund after two sets (6: 7, 1: 6).

Mirza Basic, after reaching the quarterfinals of the ATP Challenger in Cherbourg, has advanced by 15 positions to 298th place. Progress for two positions was recorded by Nerman Fatic, ranked 359th, while Aldin Setkic and Tomislav Brkic were ranked 498th and 578th respectively, and were weaker by two or one position.

There were no changes among the top 10 tennis players in the world. Serbia’s Novak Djokovic is in the lead, ahead of Rafael Nadal of Spain and Roger Federer of Switzerland, Radio Sarajevo news portal reports.
