Damir Sagolj from BiH the Best Reuters Photojournalist in 2016

Damir SagoljReuters photographer Damir Sagolj won the award of this media giant for the photographer of the year for his work in 2016.

Among his works, among other things, are photographs of the Filipino drug war, as well as the Congress in North Korea.

Otherwise, Sagolj was born in 1971 in Sarajevo, after which he moved to Moscow, but in 1990 returned to Sarajevo to study mechanical engineering.

During the period from 1992 to 1995, and the war in BiH, Sagolj was a member of the Army of RBiH, and at that time started with photography.

Today, his address is in Manila, Philippines.
