Days of Francophone in B&H

diversiteit270207-446f6On occasion of the Days of Francophone, an event that takes place from 18 to 31 March, a press conference took place in the B&H Ministry of Foreign Affairs where the role of Francophone will be discussed.

In 2010, B&H became a part of the international organization of francophone as an observer, and is organizing this year the manifestation Day of Francophone on occasion of 20 March, Day of Francophone.

Ambassador of France Rolland Gilles reminded that this event brings a wide range of cultural events.

Ambassador Gilles said that Francophone carries the message of prosperity and the rule of law. At the press conference it was said that 600 civil servants had the chance to complete courses in the French language, and the observer status of B&H in the International Francophone Organization allows cooperation of the University in B&H with universities in francophone countries.

In the next few days citizens of Sarajevo, Mostar and Banja Luka will have the chance to watch films, attend conferences, concerts, exhibitions, etc…
