The 8th international fair of agriculture, food, industry and tourism “Days of Raspberries 2013” ended on Sunday in Bratunac, and 68 companies from the RS presented their products and services at 52 booths.

At the fair, growers of raspberries and other soft fruits gave presentations, manufacturers of agricultural mechanisms and equipment, products for animal nutrition and for the protection of fruit and vegetables, food products and processors agricultural crops.
President of the Organizing Committee of the fair Vjeskoslav Stevanović said that as part of this fair, several expert lectures for producers of breeding, treating and protection raspberry plantings, harvest and marketing, as well as management of its processing were given.
The lectures were organized for the areas of growing fruit trees, beekeeping and dairy, and the best agricultural farmers in these areas were chosen from the Bratunac municipality, who received diplomas, prize money and merchandise prizes.
The best raspberry grower was Ivan Stojanović, in second place was Dobrisav Blagojević, and in third place was Fehim Smailović. The best breeder of fruit trees was Milan Momčilović, followed by Samir Kapidžić and Predrag Ilić.
The best beekeeper was Milenko Stjepanović, second was Savo Filipović, and in third place was Marko Živković, while in the area of dairy the best was named Katarina Petrović, followed by Mehmed Mehmedović and Senad Muminović.
As part of Days of Raspberries 2013, the Bratunac Association “Women’s Forum” organized a campaign to engage citizens in planning balconies and courtyards, and this year the most beautiful and best organized balconies and courtyards was chosen.
The organizer for this year’s fair is municipality Bratunac with the support of the Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry and Water Management from the RS and the Embassy of the Netherlands in BiH.
