Declaration on Economic and Trade Cooperation of BiH, Turkey and Serbia Signed in Ankara Today

Groups - Adults and Business PeopleThe BiH Minister of Trade and Economic Relations Mirko Šarović, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign and Internal Trade and Telecommunications of the RS Rasim Ljajić and the Minister of Economy of Turkey Zafer Çağlayan signed in Ankara today a Declaration on economic and trade cooperation between BiH, Turkey and Serbia.

The meeting between the resource ministers war organized as part of the “Trilateral Balkan Summit and Business Forum Turkey-BiH-Serbia”.

The goal of the signing of the Declaration was to improve and diversity trade relations and the overall economic cooperation between the three countries.

The Declaration is anticipated to establish a trilateral trade committee, whose scope of work, among other things, is the exchange of information and experiences on issues of multilateral trade agreements, regional cooperation and trade policies, promotion of foreign investment and opportunities for cooperation between the three countries in various sectors, given the economic priorities, research opportunities and encouraging economic cooperation in third markets.

The signed declaration will encourage business entities to participate in business forums, exhibitions, fairs and other promotional activities, and will recommend business circles to hold trilateral business forums, parallel to meetings of the trilateral committee in a particular country.

In order to achieve economic cooperation in third markets, every side will provide support to other sides through its trade representatives in third markets, announced the BiH Ministry of Foreign Trade and Economic Relations.
