“BH-Gas”, based on the movement of the Russian price of natural gas, analysis of current parameters of the price of oil and oil derivatives, and analytical approach to other calculating elements that make up the price of natural gas, formed a proposal for a new wholesale price of natural gas.

On the basis of such calculated calculation elements, BH-Gas formed a proposal and sent the material for adoption to the competent authorities and institutions with a proposal for a new wholesale price.

Thus, the new wholesale price of natural gas for distribution companies is 485 KM / 1000 Sm3. This means a reduction of 8.5 percent compared to the currently valid wholesale price of natural gas, which is 530 KM / 1000 Sm3.

The new wholesale price of natural gas, according to the proposal, will be applied from January 1, 2021. At the same time, BH-Gas submits an estimate of heating costs for an average living space of approx. 80 m2.

The specific annual thermal energy is approximately 150 kWh / m2, so the total energy required for heating 80 m2 of living space for the heating season is 12,000 kWh …

In this regard, a comparative analysis was made with other energy sources with the new wholesale price of natural gas, which shows that the price of natural gas, including VAT, on distribution systems is absolutely competitive with other energy sources, especially those fuels that pollute the air.

BH-Gas believes that this competitiveness of natural gas provides a good basis for the transition from solid fuels to natural gas.

The price that will be applied from January 1, 2021 will be among the lowest prices of natural gas for households in Europe, it is stated in the announcement.
