Decrease in the Number of Building Permits issued in BiH

A number of building permits issued in April of 2019, compared to the average number of building permits issued in 2018, decreased by 1.3% and compared to  April 2018, decreased by 1.9%.

Number of dwellings planned for construction in April of 2019, compared to the average number of dwellings planned for construction in 2018, decreased by 14.6% and compared to the April of 2018, decreased by 17.4%.

According to BiH’s Agency for Statistics, the total Producer Price Index in Construction/ residential buildings in Bosnia and Herzegovina in the first quarter 2019, as compared to fourth quarter 2018, increased by 0.3%.

By types of construction works, in the same period, index of producer prices for Architecture and construction works increased by 0.3%, index of producer prices for Plumbing and sewers works increased by 0.5%, index of producer prices for Electrical installations works increased by 0.5% and index of producer prices for Heating installations works increased by 0.2%.
