Defense Minister says Israel is moving to a “full offense” against the Gaza Strip

Israeli Defense Minister Yoav Gallant said this evening during a meeting with soldiers on the border with Gaza that he had given instructions to release all restrictions in the fight against Hamas.

“We have taken control of the situation and are moving to a full-scale offensive. Thanks to your heroic action in the defense mission, you will have the right to change the reality here,” said Israel’s defense minister.

He said they have seen the price and will witness a change.

“Hamas wanted a change in Gaza, and they will change 180 degrees from what they thought. They will regret this moment, Gaza will not go back to what it was. Anyone who came to chop off heads, kill women and holocaust survivors will be destroyed by our full force and without compromise. What we witnessed in the cities was a massacre, in the battles you emerged victorious,” said Gallant.

Earlier, Gallant announced that the siege of Gaza had begun and that the flow of water, electricity and supplies had been cut off. Also, scandalously Gallant said that Israel is at war with “human animals”, using a kind of dehumanizing language.

UN High Commissioner for Human Rights Volker Türk warned that the announced tightening of the Israeli blockade of Gaza is against international law.

“Launching a siege that threatens the lives of civilians by depriving them of goods essential to their survival is prohibited by international humanitarian law,” Türk said, Klix.ba reports.
