A delegation of the Government of Serbia today spoke with the mayor of Srebrenica Mladen Grujicic about the current level of realization of projects which are financed by Serbia.

Imre Kerm, the state secretary of the Ministry of Construction, Traffic and Infrastructure, alongside project and oversight boards and representatives of the contractors of the projects which are being realized with funds from Serbia will attend the meeting.

Aleksandar Vucic, the former prime minister and current president of Serbia, pledged 5 million Euro’s worth of assistance to the municipality at an investment and development conference in 2015.

Two million Euros were transferred into the municipal budget immediately for its sanitation and paying back debts, while the other three million Euro were intended for infrastructural projects to be realized this year.

A modern nursery, reconstruction and construction of several local and village roads, the reconstruction of the main street in Srebrenica and construction of several sidewalks will be financed from those funds.

Besides these, one production facility and several smaller projects will also be realized.
