Delegation of Austrian Business People to Visit Herzegovina From 13-16 May

Trebinje-postcard-largeThe Office of the Trade Advisor of the Austrian Embassy to BiH, together with the Foreign Trade Organization of the Chamber of Commerce of Austria, is organizing a visit of Austrian business people to Herzegovina from 13-16 May.

After a very successful visit of the Austrian delegation 17 business companies to northeast BiH, this time Austrian companies will be presented with the potential of Herzegovina.

The tour starts with a visit to Trebinje, where a roundtable will be held with representatives of local companies. There will be a presentation of the city and the Regional Chamber of Commerce. Afterwards, the Austrian delegation will visit the RS Elektroprivreda, company ‘Alata” Trebinje, the food industry “Swisslion” Trebinje and the winery Vukoje.

A roundtable will be held in Mostar on 15 May with representatives of local companies, with a presentation of the HNK Ministry of Justice, West Herzegovina and Livno Canton and a project by the company Dvokut-Energetski park Linvo. In the afternoon, there will be a visit to Elektroprivreda HZHB and Aluminija, and on 16 May there will be a visit to companies Feal in Široki Brijeg and Violeta in Grude.

Seven Austrian companies have confirmed participation so far: Christoph Group (construction of industrial and power plants), Bürkert Contromatic GesmbH (leading world producer of measuring, control and regulation systems for liquids and gases), Ireene Innovative Renewable Energy (design, installation, commissioning and maintenance of photovoltaic plants from 10-200 kWp), JIPP IT GmbH (software development and services in information technology), Rail Cargo Austria (logistics, daughter company of Austrian Railways), Ubimet GmbH (one of leading meteorological companies in Central and Eastern Europe), and WOMA GmbH (high pressure pumps).
