The delegation of the EU Food and Veterinary Office will start today a ten-day visit to B&H, confirmed the EU Delegation to B&H.
It was announced that the delegation would assess and evaluate the controls conducted by the competent authorities in B&H in the production chain of processing dairy products for export to the EU, and whether the dairy farms are ready to be listed for export to the EU.
If a positive assessment for controls is received, B&H will be allowed to export milk products to the EU, and its focal competent authority will be able to place B&H producers on the list of those who are allowed to export their products to the EU.
Having in mind that this process is purely technical, the final assessment can be expected within two months after the visit, when the results from the field are finalized.
