Croatian citizens in BiH will vote on 13 and 14 April for the European Parliament, which will be open in diplomatic-consulate missions. Their votes will be counted for the total number of votes in Croatia for parties in the State Election Commission.
According to ‘Večernji List’, Croatian citizens will for the first time choose 12 of their deputies in the European Parliament ahead of the country’s entry to the EU who will represent the interests of their voters. Croats in BiH in this way will be in a position to influence and indicate the situation in BiH.
Polling stations will be open in Sarajevo, Mostar, Tuzla and Banja Luka.
Voters will use their democratic rights by circling one list and one candidate from that list, and ballots will only be valid if one candidate is selected from the list.
Ballots will be deemed invalid if they circle two different lists or candidates with two different lists, and lists where nothing is circled.
