The Municipal Court in Sarajevo accepted the lawyer’s appeal and lifted the detention of Amar Turčalo, a member of the Sarajevo Canton’s Interior Ministry, who is suspected of having had sexual relations with a minor.
Turčalo’s detention was lifted, and measures prohibiting him from leaving his place of residence and meeting with certain persons were imposed, prohibiting the suspect from meeting or approaching within 500 meters, from making telephone contact or contacting the injured minor in any other indirect or direct way.
The implementation of this measure will be controlled by the Cantonal Interior Ministry, or the competent police station.
Turčalo is suspected of sexual abuse of a minor, namely that he had sexual relations with a minor during October.
