Diaspora recognizes the Potential of IT Sector in BiH

BiH has been recording a steady increase in the IT sector over the last few years, and the growing number of young people decides for that profession due to benefits offered by IT companies.

IT companies from BiH offer their services to international clients, which is the reason why our Diaspora also recognized the opportunity of investing in that sector. That is how the company “ZenDev” from Mostar was created, as announced from USAID.

The company “ZenDev” was founded by Senad Santic from Mostar, who spent most of his life in Sweden. He left BiH back in 1993.

“We established this company two years ago with only three workers, and now we have 15 of them, so we managed to expand quickly. USAID Diaspora Invest helped us when we needed financial assistance. We were in the process of moving from one location to the other and they supported us through the procurement of equipment and education of our workers,” said Santic.

The story of Senad Santic is just one of the many successful examples of the investment of BH Diaspora.

The USAID project “Diaspora Invest” will organize info sessions in Banja Luka (September 10, 12.00 p.m. in Hotel Bosna), Bihac (September 11, 12.00 p.m in the Chamber of Commerce of USC) and Brcko (September 12, 12.00 p.m. in the Chamber of Commerce of Brcko District) with the aim to bring potential investors closer to the opportunity to invest.
