BiH Minister of Communications and Transport Edin Forto and Director of the BiH Agency for Identification Documents, Records and Data Exchange (IDDEEA) Almir Badnjević presented today in Sarajevo a digital platform intended for the economy called “eDataXchange”.

At the presentation, it was pointed out that “eDataXchange” is a secure digital platform that enables the electronic exchange of data and documents between state institutions and businesses, with strict compliance with the legal framework and protection of personal data.

Forto stated that the digital transformation has already progressed when it comes to citizens and public institutions, and that the mentioned platform will enable the economy to do the same.

He added that until now business entities had to apply and ask for information in writing and congratulated IDDEEA on another step forward in digitalization.

Badnjević stated that telecoms, banks, law offices, notaries and microcredit organizations most often contact the Agency for data, which send thousands of requests per month, which require administrative proceedings to be initiated.

“We have now created a platform that enables all business entities to submit all requests electronically in the future and to receive a response in electronic or printed form,” said Badnjević.

It was emphasized that the project was designed with the intention of supporting the use of electronic signatures and simplifying the exchange of data for the public and the business community.
