Diplomatic Scandal: Russia treats the entity of Republika Srpska as a state?

President of Bosnia and Herzegovina of the RS entity Milorad Dodik is visiting the Russian city of Saint Petersburg, where the Security Forum is being held. Next to him is BH State Minister of Security Nenad Nešić.

Today, a big omission was recorded because the organizer, i.e. the Russian Federation, dedicated Bosnia and Herzegovina’s administrative unit the same treatment as the state. This is also evidenced by the flag of Republika Srpska, which the organizers placed on an equal footing with the flags of other countries. There was no flag of Bosnia and Herzegovina.

“The flag of Republika Srpska is among the flags of many other countries participating in the Security Forum in St. Petersburg,” it was stated on Milorad Dodik’s X account.

Based on this diplomatic failure of the organizers, which is certainly not accidental, the Russians gave the RS entity the status of a state, and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Bosnia and Herzegovina is to be expected to send a note of protest.

Thus, the RS flag was placed next to the flags of Saudi Arabia, Serbia, Singapore, Syria, Sao Tome and Principe, Seychelles…

This approach, as well as the full support for the secessionist policy implemented in Bosnia and Herzegovina by the leader of the SNSD, Milorad Dodik, are just another indicator of Russia’s malignant influence, but also why Russian diplomats are on the offensive in New York, where they are working against the adoption of a resolution on Srebrenica.

Milorad Dodik said today that he was satisfied with “the fact that Republika Srpska was treated at an important level in St. Petersburg” and that he had the honor to be the first to speak at the conference regarding contemporary challenges in the field of security. He accused the United States of America of waging a “special hybrid war against the RS and Serbia”, Klix.ba writes.
