Direct Flights from Rome-Mostar From May

mistral_airThe Italian airline Mistral Air will introduce a direct flight in April from Rome to Mostar, confirmed at a meeting of the Italian Ambassador to B&H Ruggero Corrias and the Director of the Mostar Airport Marin Raspudić. It was confirmed at the meeting that Italians have an interest in Herzegovina, especially Međugorje, and this increases every year.

Aircraft of Mistral will transport tourists towards this town in Herzegovina two times a week from April to November. Thus, visitors from Italy will arrive to Mostar in less than one hour.

‘’Every year, more than half a million Italians arrive to Međugorje and Mostar before they go to Sarajevo. Given that trade between B&H and Italy amounts to 10 percent and having in mind the fact that more than 70 Italian companies invested in this country, intensifying air traffic is natural and comes from good bilateral relations between the two countries’’, said Ambassador Corrias.

Mistral Air is already active in B&H with several seasonal charter flights between Mostar and several Italian cities, such as Naples and Bari.
