Director of Chelsea Marina Granovskaia, the right hand of Chelsea owner Roman Abramovich, wants to bring the Bosnian national team player Miralem Pjanic and she already made the first steps towards the completion of the transfer.
Granovskaia is in charge of transfers in Chelsea since 2013, and last season she managed to bring big stars in the club.
British media reported that Granovskaia contacted Pjanic agents, and found that in Pjanic’s contract a clause by which BiH national team can leave Roma if another club pays him 31 million GBP (40 million EUR).
The Times states that Granovskaia offered Pjanic weekly salary of 76,000 EUR, which means that our player would earn almost 4 million EUR.
Earlier, the Italian press reported that Pjanic earns 2 million EUR per season in Roma.
From next season, Italian Antonio Conte will train Chelsea, and he allegedly asked Granovskaia to bring Pjanic in the summer, as well as his teammate Radja Nainggolan.
British media reported that Pjanic is one of the best midfielders in Europe this season, with his precise passes and great free kicks.
