federalni parlamentThe Chairman of the FBiH House of Representatives Fehim Škaljić spoke yesterday with the Director of the Konrad Adenauer Foundation in Sarajevo Sabina Wolkner on the current political situation in B&H and future cooperation.

During the meeting, it was said that inter-parliamentary cooperation is an imperative to parliaments in B&H, as well as regional and European.

As for successful cooperation, it was said that it is necessary to have a modern approach to process management.

‘’What we can do together is the development of a plan of mutual coordination as a code of conduct or access road. This involves the exchange of good practices and the European currency’’, said Chairman Škaljić.

Sabina Wolkner said that it is an initiative of the Foundation of Inter-Parliamentary Cooperation between B&H and Germany, but with a focus on entities.

‘’Through the program of support, we wish to speak on many topics such as economic cooperation, good aspects of investing in B&H and also to the poor, in order to help create conditions for economic development’’, said Director of the Foundation Sabina Wolkner.

It was concluded that the signing of a Memorandum on mutual cooperation between the FB&H Parliament and the provincial parliament of Saxony should be a first step towards the development of economic cooperation.
