After completion of the public debate, Government of Canton Sarajevo (CS) approved the Proposal of the Law on salaries and allowances of members of management bodies and other institutions in CS, public enterprises and public institutions.
For the mentioned functions, by the proposed law will be defined income up to 3 average net salary paid in the FB&H to directors, deputy directors or executive directors, up to 50 % of an average salary for the presidents of the assemblies, management and supervisory boards and other organs, and for the board members will be provided payments of 40 % of the average salary.
The law defines the possibilities of stimulation if directors reduce negative performance of companies or institutions, or achieve positive performance in relation to the existing situation.
It is anticipated that these stimulations will be denied if there are no indicators, and if the negative performance is extended for another year after a negative assessment of business performance, and the contract with the director will be terminated due to the lack of ability to perform the function of appointment.
