After the best tennis player in the world, Novak Djokovic, became a regular guest of Semir Osmanagic, Visoko, and the Bosnian Valley of the Pyramids, another world will appear in the heart of Visoko.

Arrival with the whole team

The Archaeological Park: Bosnian Pyramid of the Sun Foundation has begun construction of two top tennis courts in Ravne 2 Park, and Osmanagic noted they expect to attract other world tennis names to Visoko apart from Djokovic.

”We are creating a regional center for tennis players’ preparations, and we expect the best tennis player in the world and our best ambassador Novak Djokovic to be our most frequent guest here. So far, he has come several times, stayed for a few days, and returned to training in other places, and when this center is finished, Novak will be able to come to Visoko with his entire team and spend 10-15 days preparing for tournaments and challenges that await him,” told Osmanagic.

Two tennis courts will be built in the “Ravne 2” park – with a hard surface and the quality of the United States (U.S.) Open courts, and one clay court, such as those in Paris. The construction of stands with a capacity of between 1.200 and 1.500 seats is also planned.

Numerous matches

”We expect the opening on July 13th this year, and the courts should be opened by Novak Djokovic, in a match with another famous world tennis name that will remain a surprise. In addition to that match, a lot of different contents and programs await us at the opening, as well as performances by cadet national teams from six countries, ” Osmanagic revealed.

In the introductory match, a match of the best tennis players from Bosnia and Herzegovina (BiH) is planned.

Technical support and assistance, especially during the construction of the grounds, will be provided by the expert team of the best tennis player in the world, Novak Djokovic, ie the team of people who take care of the Tennis Complex “Novak” in Belgrade.

Preparations of the junior national teams

Osmanagic stressed that this is an expensive project, and preparations for senior and junior national teams will be held on the field. They will be used only by professional tennis players, as well as sponsors and donors of the project who he called to support this beautiful story.

”We also received support from the Tennis Association of BiH, where they agreed that this should be a training center for our tennis players, and also from the Olympic Committee of BiH and the City Administration of Visoko,” Osmanagic concluded.
