The Pačir thermal spa located in the north of Serbia attracts more and more visitors because of the unusual pink color of the artificial lake.

This spa is actually a well-organized bathing place with thermal water unique in Serbia, but also in this part of Europe. It is characterized by salty medicinal water of pink color that comes from a depth of about 1400 meters. It is 33 kilometers from Subotica, and is located in the municipality of Bačka Topola.

Water contains sodium, iodine, sulfate, bromine and many other minerals. The temperature of the water when it comes to the surface is 72 degrees, and when it cools it reaches a temperature of 30 to 35 degrees. The water has the smell of iodine and other minerals.

Taking into account the uncharacteristic color – it actually comes from iodine, bromine and lithium which are found here in high concentration.

Based on the composition of the water, the spa received a medicinal certificate. Warm, salty water helps preserve and maintain health, contributing to boosting the immune system.

Water has exceptional properties in the treatment of various diseases, especially for skin diseases, rheumatism and post-injury conditions.

While the lake itself is open in summer, next to it in the spa there are also two indoor swimming pools that are also available in winter, Klix.ba writes.
