The Presidency of Bosnia and Herzegovina accepted today the invitation of the President of Cuba, Miguel Diaz-Canel, for the Chairperson of the Presidency of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Željka Cvijanović, to pay an official visit to Cuba on April 25.

At the session, the BiH Presidency approved the conclusion of a memorandum of understanding between the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in the Council of Ministers and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Cuba on the establishment of a mechanism for political consultations.

On March 1, Cvijanović met in Baku with the Vice President of Cuba, Salvador Valdes Mesa, and the Minister of Health of Cuba, Jose Angel Portal Miranda, also attended the meeting.

It was emphasized then that there are no open issues in the relations between the two parties, and that this represents a good foundation for strengthening cooperation on a bilateral and multilateral level.

She expressed her expectation that the visit will open new perspectives of cooperation in various fields, especially in medicine, healthcare and biotechnical sciences, Klix.ba reports.
