Kenan Arnautović was elected yesterday as the first vice-president of the World Federation of Neurosurgeons (WFNS) for the period from 2023 to 2025.
Neurosurgeons from different parts of the world elected him vice president of the said federation, and he thanked them for that.
Arnautović was a doctor at the Clinical Center of the University of Sarajevo (KCUS), where he was fired.
During the war, he worked as a young doctor in war hospitals in Bosnia and Herzegovina, and now he lives and works in the United States of America.
He has two specializations in neurosurgery, which he obtained in Bosnia and Herzegovina and the USA.
Since 2002, he has been working at the American Semmes-Murphey Clinic and teaches neurosurgery at the University of Tennessee.
He is one of the world’s leading experts and lecturers in the field of neurosurgery.
