The President of the Republika Srpska (RS), Milorad Dodik, believes that Russia, after the attempted rebellion in that country, will further consolidate and that the biggest damage from all of this will be the other side in the war, not Russia.
“What happened is certainly an internal matter (of Russia) and it was resolved in a good way, regardless of everything,” Dodik told reporters in Modrica.
He says that it is known that for a long time, there have been certain tensions between the leadership of the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation and the private armies, as they call them.
“But in any case, the matter was resolved in the best possible way. If you remember, we had something similar in September 1993. It happens in such situations,” Dodik added.
Moreover, Dodik believes that this will be quickly forgotten and that Russia will show its additional consolidation.
“Probably, the other side of the war, not Russia, will suffer the greatest damage from this,” Dodik emphasized.
Dodik’s statements about the rebellion in Russia come after the situation was resolved in such a way that the Wagner Group retreated before Moscow through the mediation of Belarusian President Alexandr Lukashenko, Klix.ba reports.
