Milorad Dodik, a leader of the leading party in Republika Srpska, stated today that “all imposed reforms and solutions must be annulled” to agree on what is possible at the level of Bosnia and Herzegovina. “Republika Srpska must not accept that which emerged through violence as permanent. Two years ago we were prosecuted, they were preparing dungeons for us, and during that lost time, we could have reached the agreement,” Dodik wrote on the X social network.
He emphasized that Republika Srpska “lives a constitutional life and seeks nothing outside of the Constitution,” but rather “literally everything” that is written there. According to him, this underlines the abolition of the Court of Bosnia and Herzegovina and the Prosecutor’s Office of Bosnia and Herzegovina, namely their official significant revision and restriction strictly to matters of relations at the level of Bosnia and Herzegovina. Dodik stated that these institutions should not be allowed to act as an “inquisition against Republika Srpska.”
He further assessed that “the Bosniak idea to continue the policy of centralization and reckoning through the judiciary now that there is no High Representative – will not succeed.”
“Serbs who are part of the judiciary must know that they obtained their positions on an ethnic basis and that they also have a responsibility towards Republika Srpska – including stepping down if necessary,” Dodik wrote.
