13022466_1157922504258704_1345767489_nPresident of Republika Srpska Milorad Dodik and member of the Presidency of BiH Dragan Čović assessed yesterday in Trebinje that the Agreement on cooperation between Elektroprivreda RS and Elektroprivreda HZHB Mostar is just the beginning for further mutual cooperation in the field of energy.

Čović believes that such meetings should be supported and encouraged.

“I am looking forward to future ventures. Until now, I do not know why, we did not know how to do it. That was irrational and people should know that megawatts of electrical energy are passing by every day and I hope this is the end to that,” Čović said.

Dodik added that he is glad that he managed to initiate this meeting together with Čović and that the agreement between electrical energy management enterprises was signed, presenting a basis for further cooperation. Dodik pointed out that today energy is one of the strategically important parts of society, thus the energy management must be improved as well.

Director of Elektroprivreda HZHB Marinko Gilja said that the agreement will be a new stimulus and momentum in the relations between the two enterprises.

Gilja explained that the most important part of the agreement in the regulation of watercourses in winter period and that in this way the floods of households and arable land in river basins will be prevented.

Furthermore, Gilja also highlighted that everyone will take responsibility for their part of unscrupulous dealing with business.
