“There was no arrangement with the IMF for 3 years, and we paid obligations in that period. I expect the arrangement to be signed in June, and it will help the liquidity of the budget,” said Dodik to reporters at the Economic Forum on Jahorina.
President of RS emphasized that he is not looking forward to the arrangement with the IMF, but they are helpful because there is objective need for them, and their absence affects the loans of the World Bank and the EU.
When asked why was the Credit Committee of the Investment and Development Bank of RS dismissed, Dodik said that there was a responsibility of the Committee and that is the reason why it was dismissed.
“Credit Committee should be out of politics, that is, to represent an independent structure,” said Dodik.
According to him, many laws that will improve the business environment in the RS have been improved.
“We should support domestic investors and not to call them tycoons,” concluded Dodik.
