Dodik Backs Attack on Vukanovic – He Vows to Press Charges with Prosecutor’s Office

Nebojsa Vukanovic, a member of the National Assembly of Republika Srpska (NARS) and the leader of the For Justice and Order, spoke out on his blog stating that he will report the president of RS Milorad Dodik to the District Prosecutor’s Office in Trebinje, claiming that he and his regime are behind the “terrorist attack on his house and family” and that it, unfortunately, had a tragic outcome.

As a reminder, on May 7th in the area of Istocno Sarajevo, Vukanovic was verbally attacked. The person who attacked him was identified as Dragan Uljarevic. Vukanovic said that Uljarevic cursed at him, called him a traitor, and hurled a series of similar insults.

“That Milorad Dodik and his regime are behind the campaign, the frequent organized attacks on me and my family, is confirmed by his post on the social media X, formerly Twitter, in which he justified the actions of his supporter Dragan Uljarevic in Istocno Sarajevo, who, unprovoked, approached me on the street in Lukavica and cursed my mother 20 days after her funeral, called me a ‘balija’ and a traitor, because of which he was detained by members of the RS Police, and after confessing was issued a misdemeanor charge. Dodik wrote that the attack on me and my family was a logical act, once again called me a traitor, and confirmed that he would reward anyone who attacks me, thereby in a way putting a bounty on my head, like in the Wild West,” wrote Vukanovic.

He announced a report against Dodik

He further added that it is now clear “that Dodik and his regime are behind the terrorist attack on his house and family.”

“Which unfortunately had a tragic outcome, and that the regime, its prosecution, and police, are doing everything to cover up the case, so that the perpetrators and those who ordered it are not discovered and prosecuted, and were probably well rewarded for the attack on my house. Even though it is in the service of the Mafia and the regime, and despite these public threats, the open call for lynching and liquidation, I will report it to the District Prosecutor’s Office in Trebinje. When institutions don’t do their job, don’t protect citizens, who should be equal before the law, when they are entirely dedicated to defending the mafia and the regime, when every leader is constantly followed by around fifty armed special forces officers, and we who are the targets of terrorists and frequent attacks are left to fend for ourselves, we must be careful, and defend ourselves and our families by all means,” emphasized Vukanovic.

Dodik responded after the attack on Vukanovic

Namely, Dodik posted on X after the attack on Vukanovic and supported the move. Vukanovic published that post on his blog, and in it, Dodik stated the following:

“Nebojsa Vukanovic, with his neurotic behavior, provoked a reaction from citizens in Istocno Sarajevo. Vukanovic is the one who provoked, belittled, and insulted. The reaction that followed is a logical action of a man who is a patriot and a nationalist. Those who love RS, who are patriots, will never back down before traitors. That is why they will always have my full support, and traitors like Vukanovic will have my contempt.”

After quoting this post, Vukanovic called Dodik a despot and usurper, N1 writes.
