Dodik calls for Election Boycott: Part of PDP on one Side, the rest on the other

Tomorrow, according to announcements, the Central Election Commission of BiH is expected to make two decisions: on revoking the mandate of the President of the RS, Milorad Dodik, and on calling early elections.

When it comes to a possible boycott of the elections, Dodik is calling for the unity of all parties in the RS and the formation of a government of national salvation.

Apart from the President of the PDP, Draško Stanivuković, who has, at least for now, called for a boycott of the elections, the other opposition parties in the RS have no dilemma.

The SDS has already announced that it will have a candidate for the President of the RS, and it is also expected that Jelena Trivić’s party will enter the race. The representative of the opposition PDP in the National Assembly of the RS, Igor Crnadak, announced that the opposition from the RS is rejecting the SNSD’s call to form a ‘government of national unity’. He stated that the SNSD must finally understand that the Republika Srpska needs an end to their rule.
