At today’s special session of the National Assembly of Republika Srpska (NSRS), the president of Bosnia and Herzegovina’s entity of RS Milorad Dodik also spoke. In his first address, Dodik focused on the “Final Report of the Independent International Commission for Researching the Suffering of All Peoples in the Srebrenica Region in the Period from 1992 to 1995”.
At the same time, Dodik made a series of unfounded and, one might say, inhumane claims, replying to the statements of the delegate to the NSRS, Ramiz Salkić, who called for “acceptance of the judgments of international courts”.
“We think that the initial definition of genocide is absolutely not fulfilled even in parts. This is what the relevant experts who deal with it are talking about,” said Dodik.
He then told Salkić that he did not know where he was in 1991, and continued talking about Srebrenica, denying the genocide and flagrantly manipulating established facts.
“Everyone who was wanted was judged. If you were objective, you would also judge your criminals. The Serbian people reject all the rascals who committed war crimes. But you want to judge the entire military and political leadership of Republika Srpska,” said Dodik.
Then he continued to bid on the number of killed Srebrenica residents, grossly denying internationally established facts and presenting numerous controversial positions.
“Can you find me a single person from Srebrenica who died in Srebrenica itself. Soldiers who fought their way through died, that’s a soldier’s job. Of course, there were also civilians who were there with them, so they also died. Undoubtedly, there were and crimes from the Serbian side. I reject all those who committed crimes. But what you do is that you want to label a whole nation,” Dodik added.
He then repeated the claim that “more Serbs were killed in Sarajevo than Bosniaks in Srebrenica”.
“You killed us in prisons, but we do not agree to propaganda. The story of Alija Izetbegović and Clinton has not been told yet, but there is time,” concluded Dodik.
He then continued to talk about the suffering of the Serbs in the Second World War, and at one point he brutally insulted the Bosniaks by saying that they were all in the Ustasha.
“You don’t have a single execution ground from the Second World War because you are the ones who killed. Your biggest execution ground is in Blajburg, that’s what your imam once said, that 50,000 Bosniaks left their bones there,” Dodik scandalously concluded, Klix.ba reports.
