Dodik: I wanted to step down from the Presidency, we are waiting for a Moment in the RS

BiH Presidency member Milorad Dodik said that he would agree to the parties from the Republika Srpska not participating in the General Elections in BiH and to organize them only on the territory of this entity, but only if there was an agreement for this by all.

“If there was a consensus of all factors in the RS that, due to the imposition of any law, we would agree not to go to the elections and to organize them only on the territory of the RS, I would accept that. But if we were to withdraw, then on the elections were won by those who wanted to, and that is the opposition, and they would be verified by the parties. So we are forced to participate in that story,” answered Dodik when asked by “Glas Srpska” whether he would respect the imposed provisions of the high representative.

“We will continue the legal fight, but even in such circumstances we will win. We have research that is not ours, it came from the outside, which speaks of certain results, they are optimistic, but we still need to do a lot. SNSD is close to absolute support for the composition of the parliament, Zeljka Cvijanovic and I shouldn’t have any problems in individual candidacies, but work needs to be done, and we are working. We turned on all our turbines and started. We have no problem respecting what was imposed, even though they threaten that, allegedly, Milorad Dodik, if he used the car of the Presidency and went to a rally, he would be removed from the list. Milorad Dodik in the Presidency drives a car bought by the party, we have a traffic license from the SNSD. I did not want to buy a car there in Sarajevo. No vehicle was bought during my mandate in the Presidency. So, I will go to the campaign in the party car,” he said.

The SNSD leader admitted that during his mandate he considered leaving the post of member of the BiH Presidency and that there were discussions about it, Klix.ba writes.
