Dodik: If they ban me from political Activity, I will form an Association for the Independence of RS

The President of Republika Srpska Milorad Dodik said today that, when he stops engaging in politics, he will form an association for the independence of the RS.

“When I stop engaging in politics, I will be released from public responsibility as the president of Republika Srpska, and when I am banned, I will form an association for the independence of Republika Srpska,” emphasized Dodik.

Dodik said that he had a very useful meeting in Brussels yesterday, and pointed out that he can no longer trust the EU when its representatives claim that they are in favor of the rule of law.

“How can we believe? Who? In their good intentions when they say the rule of law,” said Dodik.

Dodik said that when domestic politicians in BiH are in a position to agree on something, then the head of the EU BiH Delegation, Johan Satler, will come out and say that he thinks that the seat of the Court of Appeal should not be in Banja Luka.

“What does he care about that? In Germany, the appellate department is in some small town whose name I don’t even remember, it’s not in Berlin at all,” pointed out Dodik.

He recalled that at the meeting the Brussels administration expressed expectations that Bosnia and Herzegovina would move forward.

“Where to next, where to next? I have no idea. When they asked me about some solutions such as the law on the Court of Bosnia and Herzegovina, we accepted that there is an appellate department that will be located in Banja Luka. If they want, let them vote, if they don’t, you don’t need me anymore never even ask about it,” said Dodik.

He said that the requirements are also clear when it comes to the establishment of a single number for emergency calls, 112, and that it was proposed that the governments of Republika Srpska and Federation of BiH adopt it.

“What’s the problem here? They want a law at the BiH level again, and you won’t get that law, and they will take into account what is possible at the BiH level. If someone wants to favor Schmidt and his stupidity and his salary of 24,000 euros that he receives here for nothing and to make an additional mess in Bosnia and Herzegovina, that is not our business”, emphasized Dodik.
