Dodik in Belgrade: We will use all Political and other Means to defend Republika Srpska

Serbian President Aleksandar Vučić and Republika Srpska President Milorad Dodik met today as announced. After the meeting, Vučić and Dodik addressed the public.

“What I came to say is that it is clear to us in Banja Luka that Bosniaks from Sarajevo want a war in BiH. This is motivated by their constant decades-long efforts to take revenge on Serbs, believing that they should eliminate every Serb who does not fit their projections. Bosniaks never accepted the original Dayton, they did not support it, unlike Republika Srpska.”

Dodik further added: “We believed that this level of support for Dayton had to exist. Bosniaks never wanted to do that and want to deal a final blow to Republika Srpska. Although they were obliged to, they never wanted the inter-entity border to be marked. I believe that what is happening in Republika Srpska is political in nature.”

“I received a summons from the Prosecutor’s Office to appear at the Prosecutor’s Office tomorrow at 11 a.m. because I am suspected of attacking the constitutional order in Bosnia and Herzegovina. We have decided that extra-constitutional institutions cannot operate in the territory of the RS. I call on all Serbs to remain calm,” he concluded.

On the other hand, Vučić said: “For the last time, I asked the RS leadership and President Dodik to send requests for talks with the people in Sarajevo. Things happen through talks and dialogue. However, it is clear that Europe will try to stand out as a kind of or special, separate entity from the USA in the coming period. That it will strongly oppose the Russian Federation. And such a Europe probably needs to show its strength and power somewhere, and that is what both the Republika Srpska and we here in Belgrade must take into account.”

He further said that Serbia respects the Dayton Peace Agreement, the territorial integrity of Bosnia and Herzegovina, but that Serbia knows what is written in the Dayton Peace Agreement. He also announced tomorrow’s conversation with the President of Russia, Vladimir Putin, in which, he says, he will convey the messages of Milorad Dodik and the RS, Federalna writes.
