Former Republika Srpska President Milorad Dodik today nominated Savo Minić, the current entity Minister of Agriculture, Forestry and Water Management, as a candidate for Prime Minister of the RS.
He is expected to succeed Radovan Višković in the position after Višković resigned.
However, Dodik does not have the legal authority to do so, after the Central Election Commission of BiH stripped him of his mandate as President of the RS due to a ruling by the Court of BiH that banned him from political activity for a period of six years.
Also, the question arises as to how this decision will be legally communicated to the National Assembly of the RS.
