Dodik replied to Schmidt: You are a Destroyer and – please, go Home, turn off the Light

The member of the Presidency of Bosnia and Herzegovina (BiH), Milorad Dodik, sent a reply to the high representative in our country, Christian Schmidt, to the letter that was delivered on July 27th, 2022, in which the Decision on Amendments to the Election Law in BiH was attached.

Dodik confirmed that a letter was delivered to his cabinet with the Decision on Amendments to the BiH Election Law.

We consider the mentioned letter a provocation and appeal to the position of the institutions of the Republika Srpska (RS), as well as the permanent members of the United Nations (UN) Security Council, according to which you were not elected according to Annex 10, which is the only source of the legitimate mandate of the high representative, and you do not have the authority according to Annex 10 either, said Dodik.

“You did not receive the consent of the RS as a signatory party to Annex 10. Also, we remind you that all previous high representatives, especially you who do not have this title, did not have and do not have executive and directive powers, especially not legislative ones. The adoption of laws and other regulations instead of the legal and legitimate bodies of entities and institutions of BiH does not result from this Annex 10, which is the only source of the legitimate mandate of the high representative.”

Dodik told Schmidt that he and all previous high representatives illegally, illegitimately, unconstitutionally and anti-Dayton imposed laws, changed entity constitutions, “froze” the bank accounts of parties and citizens, canceled lower-level court decisions, prohibited citizens from being appointed to political positions, replaced officials on the highest political level.

“Ultimately, BiH with its high representative, and with you, in particular, has become a non-sovereign, inefficient, quasi-state, a protectorate of the modern age, which violates the human rights and freedoms of the constituent peoples and citizens. Your so-called “decision”, which passes the Law on amendments to the Election Law of BiH goes a step further. You strike with all your might against what represents the will of the people, which is realized through elected representatives in the authorities. According to you, the way in which citizens freely and directly elect their representatives is possible only in the way that you and the Central Election Commission of BiH think is appropriate, to which you give judicial and executive powers of an inquisitorial nature. You even give political guidelines to direct the tone of the campaign, while you just forgot to specify who to vote for in the “free, democratic, “OHR” elections,” BHRT reports.
