Dodik: RS did not disintegrate the Dayton Agreement with any Move

The President of Republika Srpska Milorad Dodik said on Thursday in Srpac that the RS did not disintegrate the Dayton Agreement with any move and that he wants to preserve the “Dayton structure”, reports Fena news agency.

“This is about a twisted thesis of the demolition of Dayton,” Dodik said, pointing out that it “most often comes from Sarajevo, by the Bosniaks.”

Who demolishes Dayton, he said, is best seen by what was predicted by it, and what is now in life.

Regarding the Constitutional Court, he also said that it was foreseen that the international judges would leave after five years from the signing of Dayton, and that almost 30 have passed, and they have not left.

“And when we ask that legitimate political question, then they say we are demolishing Dayton. We think we must remain committed to the letter of the Dayton Agreement and preserve its structure,” added Dodik.

The President of Republika Srpska Milorad Dodik took to Twitter on Thursday evening, commenting on the meeting of the member of the Presidency of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Denis Bećirović, with the High Representative in Bosnia and Herzegovina, Christian Schmidt, saying that Bećirović really enjoyed himself.

“What did he have in mind? That he can represent everyone in Bosnia and Herzegovina? Bećirović keeps forgetting, so he needs to be constantly reminded that he is the representative of Muslims in the Presidency of Bosnia and Herzegovina, that they elected him and he can only speak on their behalf.

Bosnia and Herzegovina is not only Muslim, it never was nor will it ever be. According to the Constitution, it is composed of two entities and three constituent nations. So, Bećirović is only one third of the BiH Presidency and he should finally start acting like that,” wrote Dodik.
