The president of the Republika Srpska entity, Milorad Dodik, reacted to the statement of the American ambassador, Michael Murphy, who said that today’s bomber flights were an act of cooperation and friendship.
Dodik said that such an act cannot be characterized as an act of friendship and that the American ambassador should “rest”.
“American planes in the airspace of Republika Srpska without the approval or consent of the authorities is not an act of cooperation or friendship, but quite the opposite. Michael Murphy is finding it increasingly difficult to deal with the fact that he represents the USA. Perhaps it would be better for him to rest for a while in some distant destination. We will not to address him, I will only tell him: Change weapons for intimidation. We are not afraid of this, and we know it,” said Dodik.
We remind you that two American B-1B Lancer bombers flew over Bosnia and Herzegovina just before 3:00 p.m. today. The overflight of the bombers was accompanied by the member of the BiH Presidency Željko Komšić, the Minister of Defense of BiH Zukan Helez, and the US Ambassador to BiH Michael Murphy.
President of Bosnia and Herzegovina of the RS entity previously said that every overflight of foreign planes, especially American ones, over the “airspace of the Republika Srpska” (whatever that is) is a “classic example of provocation, intimidation and pressure”, Klix.ba reports.
