SNSD and HDZ BiH continue to work together, and the Presidency of Bosnia and Herzegovina will be constituted first, said SNSD leader Milorad Dodik after a meeting with the delegation of HDZ BiH in Banja Luka.
He stated that “SNSD will support efforts that will go towards creating a normal system of work in the BiH Presidency”.
“We need decisions that respect the constitution of the people and the Constitution of Bosnia and Herzegovina. Foreign policy in BiH is led by the Presidency, not the minister”, said Dodik and added that “then it is the turn of the Central Bank of BiH and the defense system”.
Dodik stated that they talked today to determine certain priorities that are not directed against third parties.
“We continue to work together, without each other we will not join speculative coalitions that yield nothing. The winners of the elections must be respected. We passed successfully and positioned ourselves as an unavoidable factor in political life,” said Dodik.
He emphasized that they have the right to choose their partners, stating that some who showed rigid attitudes disqualified themselves.
“We want the government to be formed at the level of Bosnia and Herzegovina, to respect the constitution and the constitution of the people, we are not against the European path, but we are against abuse. We need an agreement for that,” said Dodik and announced that the next meeting will be in Mostar.
Čović: It is important to constitute a new convocation of the Presidency of Bosnia and Herzegovina as soon as possible
HDZ BiH President Dragan Čović stated that it is important to constitute the newly elected Presidency of Bosnia and Herzegovina as soon as possible in order to solve the issues of the diplomatic network, because the mandate of the existing one has expired, as well as that of the Central Bank of BiH.
“We want the BiH Presidency to be constituted as soon as possible and for the cabinet of the Croatian member of the BiH Presidency to come to life, because we have not been in that institution for eight years,” Čović pointed out.
He said that he is reaching out and inviting a third partner – a representative of a third nation to find common solutions for the formation of the middle level of government, as well as at the level of Bosnia and Herzegovina.
“An interesting time awaits us, I hope we will understand each other,” Čović said, Srna writes.
